Short term accommodation and assistance (respite)
What is Short Term Accommodation?
Short-Term Accommodation is intended to give both you and your support group a well deserved break. It is funding enclosed by NDIS for support and accommodation away from your traditional home, for up to 14 days at time. It’s every so often accessible when your customary carers aren’t available, or to allocate you the opportunity to try new surroundings and activities.
STA comprises all expenses in a 24 hour period including support with daily personal movements, accommodation, food and other activities. At Caring Hearts, we intend to make our short stay accommodation service as much of a home away from home place.
It’s as effortless as 1, 2, 3.
Short Term Accommodation and Assistance (STAA) replaces what used to be called respite for people with a disability. Short Term Accommodation, including respite, is support for when you need to live out of home for a short period. Sometimes a short stay away from home:
- Gives you the chance to try new this.
