Understanding Psychosocial Support

Have a question that isn't answered here? Our team is always happy to talk it through with you — no pressure, no obligation.

Ask Our Team →
What is a psychosocial disability?

A psychosocial disability arises when a mental health condition significantly affects a person's ability to manage everyday activities, relationships or participation in the community. The NDIS funds supports that help you build capacity and work toward recovery.

Do I need a specific diagnosis to receive support?

You don't need to have everything figured out to reach out. If you have NDIS funding related to a psychosocial disability, we can help you understand how it can be used for recovery-focused support. We're happy to guide you through it.

Are your support workers trained in mental health?

Yes. Our carers are experienced in psychosocial support, trauma-informed practice and recovery-oriented care. They work alongside your clinical team rather than replacing it, providing consistent day-to-day support.

How flexible is the support?

Very. Support can range from a few hours a week to daily assistance, and we adapt as your needs change. Recovery isn't linear, and neither is our support.

Which areas of Melbourne do you cover?

We provide in-home and community-based psychosocial support across greater Melbourne, including Werribee, Tarneit, Williams Landing, Point Cook, Dandenong and the Melbourne CBD.
